Write for Us: Technology

We publish technology writing aimed at people who have to make buying and building decisions, not at a general audience. Assume the reader already knows what an API is.

This page covers the Technology brief specifically. The general rules — word count, originality, link policy — are on the main write for us page, and they apply here too.

Technology topics we want

  • SaaS evaluation and migration — what you moved, why, and the hidden costs
  • AI tooling in real workflows, with honest limits and failure modes
  • Automation projects, including the ones that were not worth it
  • Cloud architecture and cost control
  • Security and compliance from a practitioner view
  • Developer tooling and engineering process

What makes a Technology pitch work

“We replaced three tools with one and it cost us two months” is worth publishing. “Top 10 AI tools for 2026” is not.

Pitch the angle before you write. Two or three lines is enough for us to tell you whether it is something we would run, and it saves you writing 1,200 words we cannot use.

Example angles we would publish

These are made-up titles, not commissioned briefs, but they show the shape of a piece that gets through review:

  • We migrated off Salesforce to HubSpot: the three costs nobody quoted us
  • Six months running an AI agent in production, and where it still fails
  • Our cloud bill doubled in a quarter. Here is what was actually causing it
  • The automation we built, then switched off, and why

Notice what they have in common: a specific decision, a real number, and an outcome the writer actually lived through. That is the bar.

What we turn down in Technology

  • “What is artificial intelligence” explainers
  • Vendor comparison posts that conclude your own product wins
  • Roundups of tools you have not used
  • Press-release style product announcements — those belong in our press release service

Requirements

  • 800 to 1,500 words, original and unpublished
  • Descriptive headings and short paragraphs
  • Sources linked for every statistic and claim
  • Up to two relevant, non-promotional links, at our editors’ discretion
  • Author bio of two or three sentences

How to submit

Email write@conciergewire.com with “Technology” in the subject line, along with your pitch or draft and your bio. We read everything and reply to what we intend to publish.

If you need a published page on a fixed timeline rather than an editorial submission, our press release service is the route for that — defined turnaround, permanent URL and a backlink to your site.
