Free UTM Link Builder

UTM parameters tell your analytics software where each visitor came from, so you can see which newsletter, social post or press release actually brought traffic. This builder adds them to any link correctly, even if the link already has its own parameters.

Enter your page URL, pick a preset or type a source and medium, add a campaign name, and copy the tagged link. Values are lowercased and spaces replaced with hyphens by default to keep your reports tidy. Your last ten links are kept in this browser only.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which UTM fields are required?

Source, medium and campaign name are the three you should always fill in. Term and content are optional and are mainly used for paid keywords and A/B tests.

Why lowercase UTM values?

Most analytics platforms treat “LinkedIn” and “linkedin” as different sources. Using lowercase consistently stops your data from being split across several rows.

Should I add UTM tags to links in a press release?

Yes, if you want to measure the traffic it brings. Use a clear source such as press-release and a campaign name for the announcement.

Where is my link history stored?

Only in your own browser. It is never sent to us, and you can clear it with one click.
